Restart yeast is a combination of active, highly alcoholising S. bayanus yeast and specialist nutrients, thanks to which it is possible to restart fermentation in wines and mashes. This yeast will restart arrested fermentation in batches with alcohol content of less than 10% - because of that, this product provides a chance to fix batches that are too sweet (at least 10°Blg) and have low strength. The fermentation should restart within 7 days. This time is required in order to multiply yeast in difficult conditions, related to presence of alcohol in the batch, among other things. This product is very easy to use – it is enough to add it directly to the batch. A 22 g packaging is enough for as much as 25 L of batch!
How to use resart wine yeast:
Add the yeast directly to the batch and leave it to continue fermentation in temperature of 25 - 30°C.
Ingredients: yeast [84.1%], diammonium phosphate (V) [15.9%].
Net weight: 22 g
Note: use the whole packaging for a single batch.
